Cleaning Up so-called Spirituality
The job I have ahead of me is going to be very hard with plenty of nastiness and spite thrown in my direction and yet I still know I have to do it. I have questioned why I am doing this and persevering when so much is being thrown at me from allegedly spiritual people, but I can’t stop it; it’s as though I’m being driven and I suppose I am. The problem is the total lack of spirituality in the majority who call themselves spiritual beings. They are ready to attack, belittle, decry and discredit anyone who doesn’t agree with them.
Talk of wealth, greatness and self is what I hear of so much now. Where is the talk of wanting to serve others, which is what this is meant to be about? Where is the talk of hoping they can do the gifts justice by serving well? Instead, all we hear talk of is, ‘I am going to be the best’, I will have great wealth’, ‘I am …’
Everything is ‘I am’ or ‘me’. A comment was made on my blog on the questions page. I have been asked to remove it because they didn’t like my answer to them. I was told in a private message that I am rude, not at all spiritual (because I’m not a spiritualist) and I am fake because I have a donations button (rather than charging huge fees like the rest do) and that they have no idea why anyone follows me.
The person in question may well be a lovely person and very honest and true in what she does, (and I think she is) but, the wording of the question worried me as this is what we are told to watch for when being deceived by lower energy spirits; talk of great wealth to come, huge success and a feeling of great euphoria with no talk at all of, ’I hope I can serve well and help people’. I worry this girl is being deceived, but I hope she isn’t and I wish her well on her path.
The problems arise when I turn away people not at all suitable for the closed Group of Sensitives. We are the only group for natural mediums so why do so many spiritualists suddenly want to join us when they have lots of groups already out there for them and their beliefs? We have some spiritualists in our group as you know, Kevin is one of them and he is a lovely chap who is always respectful and supportive of what we’re doing – as we are with him. There are others on there too, but the ones who are starting to want to join us for some reason are the ones who don’t believe in anything we say, do or are and who are trying to cause upset and discord before they are even accepted.
I am aware many of them want to come in and disrupt things (some have already) just because they dislike what I’m doing. This in itself shows us all what the spiritualist movement has become thanks to them accepting just anyone into their fold now and for having teachers who are seen and heard to be spouting anti Christian propaganda and general intolerance of others with different beliefs to their own.
All their spite, nastiness, self-centred me, me, me attitude is doing is making me even more determined to be heard and to have this stopped or at least recognised. The spiritualist movement used to be a decent place for people to go to who wanted to try to develop and they do have some excellent mediums within their fold, but it is fast losing that reputation by allowing all this bad behaviour that’s crept in mostly because of their teachers. I now have no respect for them as a whole and yet I know there are some very good people within their fold; super mediums who mean well, are humble and who only wish to serve others – these people deserve to have the trash thrown out of the back door and the clutter cleared out.
It is time the proper mediums – whatever path they are on – were allowed to work properly and without this nastiness or mediocrity that is being seen sweeping through everywhere today. It is time anyone heard to be preaching propaganda, religious hatred, or any other thing against another person was slammed down on, but until the various churches get rid of their bias towards others they will just continue to encourage this dreadful behaviour and bring themselves down by their own lack of morals, ethics or standards.
NB: On Monday 20th February I will be at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol South – Cadbury House doing a talk. Entrance is FREE and it is 7 for 7.30pm. The talk will be about the differences between man-made or forced mediums and natural mediums and healers. It will be followed by a question and answer session and I am hoping as many of you as possible will be able to come so we can meet up, but if you are unable, please could I ask you to advertise the event on your blogs, wall posts or anywhere you think might help.
Life as a Sensitive
Natural mediums (Sensitives) and taught mediums are different for a variety of reasons. Those who are taught can have their place in the world the same as any other person has and there are hundreds of places for them to go to for help, but I help natural mediums and this is something taught ones cannot understand. To them, all mediums are the same and they believe all people are born with the gifts to the same level Sensitives are. Some call natural mediums egotistical, elitist, deluded and all manner of things that aren’t always pleasant.
Let’s put this into perspective. Natural mediums, or Sensitives, will have had things happening to them all their lives that are classed as ‘not normal’ to everyone else in the world and that can be classed as socially or even religiously unacceptable, which is why they often hide their abilities for many years and learn not to say about things they experience. They often don’t want it all to happen and nor do they want to be called mediums due to the image that word conjures up (I don’t like being called that even now) – hence the name Sensitives. They often shy away from what’s happening and hide their ‘gifts’ from even those closest to them until a much later age for fear of ridicule or a variety of other reasons. I did exactly that and so did all the natural mediums I have ever come across.
Taught mediums are people who have never experienced all the strange things natural mediums have and so can never understand what it’s like. Some try to say they have, but just talking to them for even a short while makes it obvious they haven’t really – not as we do. They haven’t grown up feeling the need to hide things for fear of ridicule and so cannot understand anything about what Sensitives go through. Taught mediums can learn to do some of the things we can, just not to the same standards of natural mediums.
It is hard to explain to people who have never experienced all the natural phenomena from an early age just what it feels like and I am sure this is why taught mediums think they now know what we experience and yet they don’t and can’t – not really. We can guess what it might be like to be a Pavaroti, Shakespeare, Van Gogh or Margot Fonteyn and might even have experienced one or two little bits along the way, but we’ll never know what being so different is really like unless we experience it for ourselves and the same goes for being a Sensitive.
I’ll try to explain the differences in an easy to understand way. Take any other walk of life, singers is one such example. I’m sure those of you reading this can sing; some in tune, some flat as a pancake, others well enough to earn a living from it and some will be the Pavaroti’s of the world. Okay, we’ve established we can all sing, but how many of you are equal to Pavaroti or anyone of his calibre? We can all dance, but how many of you will be a Darcey Bussell or Margot Foenteyn? Very few I’ll bet and this is because even though we can all do it, only they, and others like them, were born with the gifts within them of being able to sing or dance to that incredible standard. As I’ve said, some others are born with it also and that is why they too rise to the top of their profession and we don’t.
You can just imagine Pavaroti at singing lessons in school can’t you? The children all start to sing and suddenly, his voice booms out above the rest of them naturally and in a strong manner no one else can do. No doubt some of his classmates ridiculed him and said he was showing off, as many people who are incapable of the same standard themselves will often do this through jealousy. Many young people when first discovering they can do things others can’t will often hide it away because they are embarrassed that they appear different to their peers or because they are ridiculed, laughed at or told they are showing off if they do ever dare to show what they’re capable of. Sometimes, they are avoided and made outcasts because they ‘are different’.
There are things we can all do, but a small minority will excel in their field as they were given that extra something at birth. They are to be the leaders in their field and will always stand out in their work above all others; everything comes naturally to them without effort as that is their path in life and so it is with mediumship and healing. Those born with it will excel because it is something they were chosen to be gifted with from birth just like Pavaroti and other high achievers, and the rest will do it in a more modest way.
We are all different and these differences in ability are what makes us all unique. We can’t all be followers and we can’t all be leaders. There has to be varying levels of everything in life and mediumship and healing is no different. Natural mediums are often bewildered by the abuse aimed towards them by people in the same field as themselves. Let’s face it, we’re in a strange old world with our work and so one would think others who do the same as us would be the first to understand and support us, but no, it is often the exact opposite as they cannot understand we don’t need the lessons and certificates they do. We have no need to learn and this is something they often can’t accept.
Sensitives have nowhere to go to for support or help at present as everywhere these days appears to be for Spiritualists. I am trying to change that so all those developing naturally can also have a support network just as taught mediums have. I would love to see all natural mediums throughout the world offer help to other natural mediums who need advice about their gifts. Where to go on their path, how to develop what’s there naturally and to answer the many questions they have about all the confusing things happening to them. This is why I am standing up and teaching about the differences. It is a path I have been guided to go on as part of my work. All natural mediums are shown by the spirit world where they are to be used in their work and for now, this is where they want me. It is for this reason I am putting myself in the firing line and one day who knows, maybe we’ll have as big a network for Sensitives as we do for Spiritualists.
