We Must Love Sinners as Well as Saints
Most people reading this blog will think of themselves as spiritual people, which is why they’re here. But what exactly is a spiritual person and how do they really behave? Are you spiritual just on the outside or are you spiritual on the inside too with God truly in your hearts and souls? How many of you will actually read the whole of this article I wonder given its subject matter?
Today, we hear of yet another mass murderer who ran riot killing others and then himself. How many people on hearing of this event prayed for the soul of the murderer as well as his victims? How many of you reading this are now sickened by what I’ve just asked? I ask you to read on to see why I’ve asked what I did for as true Sensitives, we have a job in this world to do and it is not to run, hide or condemn as easily as others might. Look at Jesus and how He would have behaved at this news, look too at Gandhi as an excellent example in today’s world of how a true spiritual person thinks and behaves.
I am not asking anyone to accept what they’ve done as being right as it disgusts and sickens me as much as it does the rest of you, I just want you to think for a minute about what your attitude as a spiritual person is to them. God asks us to forgive as He does. When asked how many times one should forgive, His answer was one that meant, for as long as a person breathes. God does not condemn anyone until their last breath is drawn as there is always the chance someone might recognise the error of their ways and become truly sorry. It doesn’t change what they’ve done, but we who profess to be truly spiritual are meant to have a deeper understanding than those who aren’t and are asked to pray for their souls.
As a true spiritual person and Sensitive, you are meant to lead the way for others to follow by your example. Have forgiveness in your hearts and compassion – not hardness. By praying for those who do the worst things the world can see, maybe you can, by your very compassion, gentleness of heart and good example, encourage others to behave the same way. For when you harden your hearts, you banish God from your lives too as He cannot live where there is hatred. Soften your hearts, pray for the sinners and invite God to live within you at all times so you can lead the way for others to re think their lives and maybe become as you.
By behaving with hatred, you are being as they are with badness in your hearts. That doesn’t mean you can’t be very upset and saddened. Do you remember when we were told to love our neighbours as ourselves? Well, he didn’t anywhere say we had to like them!
Jesus came into the world to save sinners and if He can forgive and try to help then surely that is what we must do too? We have to put our own thoughts aside and pray for them to change their ways. I can hear some screaming at this point that murderers didn’t give their victims that chance so why should we try to help them. The reason is because we are the better people with a deeper understanding of God and what it is He would want us to do. You are calling yourself spiritual, so show that in your deeds as well as by your words.
Jesus didn’t turn His back on beggars, thieves, murderers and liars. His last words on the cross were to a thief who repented at His last breath and who actually prayed for Jesus then asked Him to remember him when He went to His Father. At this request Jesus said, ‘Today, you shall be with me in Paradise’. This person He saved at their last breath, whilst the thief on the other side He ignored and turned His face from as his heart remained hard and he never repented.
It is easy to love those who are nice to us and to the world, but it takes a far greater man to be able to love and pray for those who hurt us or others by whatever means. People are like sheep and love to follow. Be as Jesus was and teach the ways that are wrong, but try to help and guide by example. As I say, Gandhi was the best role model for this in today’s world. By condemning a murderer to death or wishing that upon him, we become no better than he is. By having hatred in our hearts as they do, we become as they are.
Murderers, paedophiles, rapists, people who hurt or torture animals and all manner of other things we can think of that’s bad disgust or frighten us are people we all shy away from. We always say we will pray for their victims – as well we should, but we should also be praying for them. What they do may be very wrong, but many of these people may be sick and not able to recognise what they do is wrong and how do we know if this is the case or not? Some of you might dislike this article very much because I am asking you to stop and think for a minute about those who commit the worst crimes we can think of.
There are some criminals who do know what they’re doing is bad – or even downright evil – but they still can’t help themselves and a small number of these do actually genuinely repent later on and can turn their lives around totally. We still might not like what they’ve done, but how often do we sit and really think about the person behind the crime? What was their life like, who were their role models during their upbringing, their state of mind at the time and all manner of other things that can be taken into consideration?
Many may ridicule this as being about Heaven and Hell, but is it? If we are to come back here and live more lives having to experience those things we did against others, then surely it stands to reason that what we have in our hearts now, will decide what it is we have to experience in our next life or lives.
Those who read all of this article will be the ones with the true spirit and God within their hearts and not just on the surface for all to see. To be as it says above is very hard to achieve and do and we won’t manage it all the time, but practice makes perfect and the main thing is to try our hardest. You are the ones who will make a difference to the world and who will lead by example. You are the ones who will make a difference and maybe save someone’s souls – or many souls. You are the truly Blessed of all.
Sensitives leading the way
Celebrity or Non Celebrity – are you a Sensitive?
Sensitive people are those who care deeply about others, nature and animals. They are also people who are extra sensitive to how others treat them and behave towards them. They are gifted people from all walks of life who have one big thing in common – they care and make the world a better place for others to live in. Sensitives can be famous pop stars, musicians, actors, actresses, comedians, chefs, natural mediums or healers and you. If you are reading this blog post, then the chances are you are a truly sensitive person who is more interested in the natural things of life that all go towards making others feel good than you are about materialism, wars, hatred, anger, jealousy, envy, greed and all other things that make life miserable for others.
A truly sensitive person makes others feel better for having come across them whether it is for a brief moment or longer. Their emotions run far deeper than other people who don’t seem to care about others, what happens to animals or the world we live in. They ever care about those who have committed murders, rape, who are drug addicts, drunks or anything else society often shuns. The reason for this is not because they accept all things are right, but because they are aware there is often an underlying reason why people have become as they are or are addicted to something we are lucky enough not to be.
What life have they had to bring them to this? Maybe they have a weaker character than we do – how lucky are we then because character is often in us and is not something we have through choice. Instead of condemning others, Sensitives will usually look for the best in people and even in those who are beyond help, who do seem to be truly bad people, they will often pray for their souls and be sad for them. This is because they are compassionate people and it is easy for anyone to like those who are good. To have compassion for those who lead seemingly blameless lives, but it is much harder to feel compassion for someone who has just murdered a child and whilst we don’t condone what they’ve done or under value the depth of despair it brings upon others, we can also question why they did it as things aren’t always what they seem.
Sensitives are often bullied and ridiculed because those who have less compassion or caring about others find it hard to understand how we can feel that way. Some are appreciated for the lovely souls they are, but others aren’t for a variety of reasons. It is a sad fact of life that those who are the most caring, gentle and compassionate are the most bullied by others with total lack of compassion or caring in their hearts. The reason for this is because we will often stand up for others being verbally attacked by others just for being who they are. We will stand up and be counted whereas others sit on the fence or hide completely when this happens.
Sensitives are a people who are now coming forward to be seen and counted. There are far more of us in the world and we are determined to try to make the world a better place for others to live in. If you are a Sensitive and the above sounds like you, come and join us today on my Sensitive’s page that is open to all. I have a couple of other groups, one of which is closed, but this is one I have opened for all like minded-people so they can either join in with chatting to each other or just so they can show support of what it is we are all trying to do.
