Your Spiritual Journey is a Mystery Tour
All of us who find ourselves on a spiritual journey wonder where it will take us and when we’ll get there. Those of us lucky enough to be given the spiritual gifts of mediumship or healing often have no idea where it will take us or when and how we’ll eventually end up working – if at all. I am no different in that and would never have thought back at the beginning I would be doing what I am today. It has been a long road to get here and has needed great patience at times. It has seen me confused, frustrated, impatient and wondering whether to give up at times as nothing seemed to be moving forwards at any great pace, when suddenly – all of this happened and seemingly in the blink of an eye.
How many of you wonder why you are here and what your purpose in life is – or do you just accept you’re here and not wonder at all? I used to wonder what my purpose was as we are all meant to have a part to play in the greater plan that is life and now I think I have seen what mine is. There is one other thing in my personal life I know I had to be there for, but I would say my spiritual work is most probably the main reason.
Years ago when I was starting out on this path and unsure what it was all about and where it would take me, I had no idea I would be doing what I am now and especially not on such a huge scale. Me, teaching, helping, advising and instructing people throughout the world? That is not something I would ever have guessed at in a million years and yet here I am doing it. It is whilst writing my latest book I came to realise how much knowledge I have about all of this now and am astounded about how and where it all suddenly came from.
The amount of questions I am able to answer in order to help others and guide them on their paths is obviously why my journey had to take so long. I was learning all the time and wasn’t able to get to this stage until all of it was in place. Although I was frustrated and thought nothing much was happening, I now realise it was and I just wasn’t aware of it as my thoughts were focused on other areas and not on the teaching side. After all, why would I have thought I could ever be a teacher? You wouldn’t when you’re learning would you and yet this is the path I was led onto in the gentlest of ways, which is how the spirit world work.
This is what could be happening to you as well, so if you are on a spiritual path that never seems to be getting you very far, don’t give up. Stick with it as you are learning far more than you realise along the way and one day, you too will suddenly become aware of what it is you’re meant to be doing. The spirit world guide us gently, quietly and slowly in the direction we’re meant to go without us even being aware they’re doing so.
This is what a spirit guide does and you can see why it is so different from our spirit helpers who help us with readings we do for others. Our spirit guides are on a different level totally than our spirit helpers who were once of our world and who, therefore, cannot guide us on our spiritual path. Their job is to help only with communication. Our spirit guides don’t help with readings, they are the ones who will take us where we need to be in our lives here. I never made the decision to do what I am, I just found myself doing it and that is most probably what will happen with you as your guides lovingly guide you to where you are meant to be. Trust them and place yourselves in their care and protection as they take you on your spiritual journey and to your final destination at the time that’s right for your work to begin.
